Self-proclaimed "Red Devils nut" Simon Bobaganush was left in need of an explanation from fellow fans following Manchester United's defeat to derby rivals Manchester City 3-0 on Tuesday night. Simon had asked other football fans in his local pub to explain the score line as he didn't understand.
"Did city score 3 own goals? Are the fans cheering right now, united fans?" Asked the 20 year old. Simon, from London, explained "I have been a fan of theirs since I saw them win the title but I haven't been watching the reds much this season and when I watched the latest game something strange happened - the other team started to score. I had never seen this happen before." Said Simon.
When the final whistle blew Simon lost his temper. "That's it?! What about Fergie time?" When it was explained to him that "Fergie time" wasn't an official extra period afforded to Manchester United he criticised the manager "Alex Ferguson clearly has lost touch with the team and needs to be replaced immediately"
