SEATTLE - There is no doubt about it - the Seattle Seahawks have some of the most devoted and rabid fans in the entire NFL.
The Seahawks fans hold the noise level record for a stadium venue with 136.6 decibels which is roughly the amount of decibels Mount St. Helen's registered when she erupted back in 1980.
One fan said that it is impossible to hear the person sitting next to you talk because of the tremendous noise level.
Security guards at CenturyLink Field say that flocks of birds have long ago learned to fly around the stadium during a game.
Many of the Seahawks players will tell you that the 12th man (Seattle fan) is just as responsible for the 23-17 victory as the team is.
49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick said that he coughed several times but he could not hear his coughs.
He said that during the 3rd quarter he actually tried listening to music to drown out the crowd noise but that kinda made it worse.
