Euro 2012 draws to a close on Sunday with a final between defending champions Spain and Italy. Spain scraped past Portugal in the semi-final on penalties, while Italy upset the form book beating Germany with two goals from Mario Balotelli.
Now, with the whole world watching, the final could be decided by the performances of two strikers who regularly attract the headlines in the Premier League - Balotelli and Fernando Torres.
Both players have blown hot and cold throughout the season. Torres went months without scoring a goal before helping Chelsea reach the Champions League final by scoring at Barcelona - only to find himself a substitute in the Final v Bayern Munich.
Balotelli's season included a four game ban for stamping on Scott Parker, and a further ban for a sending off in a defeat at Arsenal which left Man City eight points behind neighbours United. Amazingly, with Super Mario suspended City pulled back the deficit and won the title on the last day of the season.
The final could therefore be decided by the first mistake from Torres or Balotelli. Will Fernando miss an open goal or Balotelli be sent off for a reckless eric challenge on a Spanish midfielder? Either way it makes for a fascinating final.
