After settling into their "peaceful hotel" in the centre of Krakau surrounded by very loud fans hoping they can keep the players awake all night, the England players have settled in quickly (Booze is cheap in Poland!).
Every other team competing in the tournament has booked their quarters in the peaceful countryside surrounding their playing areas. England did exactly the opposite, they are staying in Poland and playing in the Ukraine; is this a warning sign of not too much self-confidence?
The receptionist of the hotel, Vladislav Cockroachniski, is quite a character and has been telling the Tabloids different stories about his prestigious guests and the common denominator coming out of their suites is a massive internet upsurge and the players visiting luxury holiday sites.
It seems the majority of players have already booked their flights one day after the final group game and are mainly all heading off to Rio for a bit of "R & R" apart from John Terry; he's going to Munich for a spiritual to reminisce over what he stupidly missed out on! But then again he is rather stupid!
