Roy Hodgson was left reeling last night after the fourth withdrawal to his Euro 2012 squad.
Gary Cahill, with a broken jaw from saturdays 1-0 win over Belgium, joins midfielders Frank Lampard (thigh), Gareth Barry (abdomen) and goalkeeper John Ruddy (finger fracture) from the original squad who have been ruled out through injury.
Cahill was inconsolable yesterday, but appeared to have cheered up this morning when twitter users suggested he should spend the three week long tournament with the wife of fellow Chelsea centre-half and squad captain John Terry.
