The England camp today moved to distance themselves from claims in the Daily Fail newspaper that Frank Lampard is not really injured but was dropped from the squad because bosses were worried he would eat all the chocolate in Belgium where the team will play a friendly today.
"This sort of speculation is damaging to the team and the management. Frank is injured. This is the reason he did not travel with the squad.
There is no truth in the story published today about Frank filling his suitcase up with Belgium chocolate and leaving his Branded Club England pants in the toilets" said Jean Neuhaus, the FAs head of confectionery.
The Belgium v England Euro 2012 warm-up match match kicks off at 5.15pm and Roy Hodgson is expected to give some of the youngsters in the squad an opportunity to impress.
Jaques Guylian, spokesman for Belgium Ministry of Chocolate Tourism issued a statement "Mr Lampard is welcome to visit our stores whether he be with the England team or on a personal visit. We have his loyalty discount card waiting for him, as he forgot to take it last time."
If you have an addiction to chocolate problem you can visit the Talk To Frank website.
