Pop star and erratic driver George 'Greekius' Michalos today backed plans for London football club Fulham to increase the capacity to their stadium.
"I love it. I'm always up for a bit of the cottaging. Especially on Saturday afternoon when the ground is full of men. What a great atmosphere. And when a goal is scored we all celebrate together, kissing and hugging. It's great to be one of the lads. Kudos to Mr Fayed that they are trying to fit more men - I mean supporters - into the stadium. It's what the great game is all about - bringing men - I mean people together"
The statement surprised many fans, who couldn't remember seeing him at a game. Maurice Cakebread, a lifelong follower said "I don't recall seeing him on the terraces - but there was a bloke with stubble and dark glasses that followed me into the toilets once - perhaps that was him"
