WHILE Joey Barton took to Twitter last night to hit out at Bradley Johnson, the Norwich star found a novel way of responding.
The pair clashed as the Canaries beat QPR at Loftus Road on Monday with Barton being sent off for an alleged headbutt.
The hoops midfielder, who scored the opening goal, and boss Neil Warnock were fuming as they claimed Johnson "conned" the referee.
Barton posted his protests on Twitter but Johnson, who spent the evening at Alexandra Palace for the PDC World Darts Championship final, used the darts-fans favourite card to reply: "Barton, your breath stinks."
Later on Johnson mingled at the bar, asking people to buy him drinks and spoke to undercover reporters:
"Twitter, what's that? I've heard a little bit about it from our club director Stephen Fry, but he told me it is only available in London, not in Norwich. We don't have internet in Norwich. Once a week I take a bus to Colchester to check my emails. It was Delia's idea to write on a placard and taunt Barton. She pays the wages so I thought I better do as she said. The good thing about writing on placards is there is no 140 character limit. Depending on the size of the placard of course."
