An astronomer claims to have found the most Earth-like planet yet - and he believes it could support life. The unusual find is doubly unusual due to where it was found.
"At first I thought I was going bonkers" says the astro-boffin "I had just taken my warmed up porridge out of the microwave, gave it a quick stir and out popped the potentially life sustaining planet. You can imagine my surprise"
The science nerd was going to contact the porridge manufacturers to complain at first, as he has had similar things happen before "It's a pain I tell you. Just last week, I bought a loaf of bread only to find a fat bloke in it, singing an opera about home insurance. It gets right on my tit end that food companies are so lackadaisical about food preparation."
The irate telescope twiddler was stopped from giving the oaty breakfast purveyors a piece of his beautiful mind, when he noticed that the planet in his porridge had favourable temperatures and a similar gravity to our own planet. The earth like body is thought to be potentially habitable, unlike its neighbours.
Professor Daddybear, who is a professor of astronomy at the University of Jellystone Park, said: "We had planets on both sides - one too hot and one too cold - and now we have one in the middle that's just right"
