Careful examination and analysis of still photos and videos of Michael Jackson 'moonwalking' show they have been faked.
Jackson, who died on June 25, 2009 at the age of 51, was an American musician, dancer, and entertainer. His claim to fame, as a dancer, rests heavily on his depictions of 'moonwalking'.
'Jackson's career as an entertainer is completely consistent with his having faked moonwalking', said Norb 'Bill' Williamson, one of the photoanalysts. 'It's quite likely that he wished this hoax to be his legacy'.
'First off,' said Williamson, 'even the most cursory examination of the footage involved makes it apparent that these moonwalking events took place on a movie set. What is more, all of the footage shows evidence of very comprehensive editing.'
'Another word for 'editing'', he said, 'is 'tampering.''
Williamson invited a comparison to the faking of the Apollo moon landings.
'It's quite difficult to prove that the moon landings were faked', Williams said. 'But with Michael Jackson's moonwalking, it's quite evident.'
