Scientist have claimed that recent studies into "Anthropomorphic Obesity" have shown that in most cases its the body shape that determines whether a person is classified as obese and not, as previously thought, the amount of chips they eat.

In a sample study it was found that narrow people showed little or no sign of obesity whereas rounder shaped people were more likely classified as having the disorder.

Speaking from his home made laboratory on his allotment in Sheffield, Dr Dipyor Bred said, "its taken years of study to arrive at this conclusion and it may shock people to know that if they are more rounded they are more likely to be called fatty than if they are not quite so wide".

A spokesman for narrow people refused to comment but said, "this is utter nonsense, I am narrow and will defend my right to be declared obese no matter what these overpaid, over-fed Sheffield based scientists say".

If this study is correct it could have major implications for the many thousands of people trying to gain obesity classification in this country today.

Jamie Ramsay (leading TV Celebrity Cook and tourettes sufferer) refused to comment but a friend of his passed me a note which said "a man on a seesaw shouldn't eat soup"

I think that sums it up rather nicely

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
