A Signal Received

Space City -- Scientists were stunned and awed today by the first alien TV signals ever recorded. The alien video feed was received at the National Space Center and the president was notified immediately.

Scientists say the signal comes from a star-system about 55 light years away in the Fish constellation. It is a yellowish star and sports either two or three gas giants. The TV signal comes from a rocky planet close to the star.

The signal shows a bipedal creature, possibly female. The creature is speaking directly at the camera. It seems to speak the same word over and over. The clip only lasts two minutes. Raw video feed is also colourless for some reason.

Scientists believe the alien creature may be mentally deranged. Further analysis of the creature's image indicates it says "vegemite, vegemeetamite, vegemomite." It appears to be named 'Looooceeeee' and probably has red hair.

Scientists will soon launch an exploratory probe to this odd little planet where the signal originated.

These bipedal aliens look fat and juicy and will make nice dinners!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
