The World Bank has been run by a series of US War Criminals from Vietnam War Robert McNamara to Iraqi debacle Paul Wolfowitz. A recent study of the policies of the bank has shown that the murderous scum that have led the world organization have been somewhat insensitive to the needs of the environment.
Apparently the fellows who have sought to bomb other persons back into the Stone Age have not shown proper respect for endangered species like the three toed tree frog and the brown turd newt.
Environmental activists like Al Gore denounced the bank's callous treatment of the earth. "When I was part of the Clinton Administration's decisions to drop bombs on humans, I always advocated for the newts (not Gingerich, of course) and the frogs (the un-French ones)."
