Thomas Beatie, the 34-year-old delusional attention-whore who made international headlines and a six-figure book deal by reporting himself as 'a pregnant man' on the Oprah show, gave birth Thursday to what doctors could only describe as a "cross between a tribble and Michael Jackson", ABC News reported.
The birth of Beatie's child concludes a 'male pregnancy' circus stunt that shocked the globe and sold a shitload of newspapers. The photo image of Beatie fully pregnant, but sporting facial hair and a flat chest, confused those not familiar with photo-cropping and tabloid-style reporting.
The photo tended to accompany an advertisement to preorder the overpriced book in which Beatie described his experiences as 'a pregnant man'.
Beatie told Oprah Winfrey on her show that he always wanted children and, after this propagation stunt, will become the first man to attempt to 'become his own grandpa'.
"I feel it's not a male or female desire to get rich by telling lies," Beatie told Winfrey. "It's a human need.
"I'm a person, too, and I have the right to have a big fat bank account just like yours."
