image for Milky Way really an inky blot

A chance viewing of a negative photograph of the Milky Way has led to one expert in Astronomy claiming that in reality it is just an ink blot in reverse.

Professor Heinrich Van Stenhousemuir of the University of Kobblerz said yesterday that the universe is just a schoolboys prank. He analysed the attached photograph claimed to date back to the late 1950's from the infancy of space exploration.

When I reversed the colours of the image everything became clear to me. This is just a flick of the ink pen on white paper and then photographed in negative.

He did some research and discovered that the picture was created by 11 year old Stanley Knickerbock in 1957 during a maths lesson. He subsequently traced Knickerbock who said "It's a fair cop guv". Knickerbock is now 61 and a retired toilet cleaner from Salford.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
