MANCHESTER, England – (Satirical News) – After getting tired of the unclear speeches of the election candidates, the progressive voter decided to do something about it.
As a dedicated dog trainer, Mr. Will Findmorogh started teaching his own dog to recognize speech containing lies. His Corgi, named Goody, gradually learned to recognize untruths in the words of family members.
“The next step was to teach Goody how to express the results of her observations, Mr. Findmorogh tells. "It was a natural choice to use barking as an expression instead of biting. The Corgi breed is a natural barker."
After a long and versatile training, it was time to start testing Goody's skills in a real situation. This was possible in the 2023 Manchester local elections. Mr. Findmorogh and Goody visited each of the eight Ardwick constituency candidates' speaking events.
The results were overwhelming. Goody barked at least six times on each occasion. “When she hears honest talk, she barks at most once or not at all.” Goody's host chose his candidate based on the test. In his own comparison, he came to the same conclusion as his dog.
Research institutions are interested in Mr. Findmorogh's research. It is possible that he will receive a grant of one and a half million pounds, which will allow him to hire an academic group to continue the research.
