Astronauts Tyurin and Lopez-Alegria High-fived each other during the completion of Fixing the International Space Station's jammed antenna today.

The antenna has been jammed since it's installation a mere 4 months ago.

"We've missed a lot of really good episodes [of Ugly Betty]" said Lopez-Algeria in a MSNBCNN phone interview. "I don't even know if the father stays in America or not!"

Nasa planned the space walk for months taking as long as 3 months in mathematical calculations. Nasa's spokesman issued this statement during a press conference early this afternoon.

"We wanted to make sure we didn't have to make another adjustment for several months. I mean, it's not like a regular "Rabbit ear" TV antenna where you can adjust at random. We've spent millions [of tax-payer's dollars] in making sure the signal is clear enough for them to enjoy at least 5 new episodes, or else, what's the point?!"

This hasn't been the first time Nasa has put such a big effort in ensuring the astronaut's TV viewing pleasure.

In 1993, Nasa serviced their "Hubble Telescope" in an effort to add a Satellite Repeater so astronauts aboard the space shuttle could receive the Premier episode of "Friends" when it was aired in 1994.

"Our primary mission has always been to bring quality TV to our astronauts" Nasa Spokesman continued. "second only to exploring space so that when the "big one hits" we can find a new home."

Bill Sherman, a critic of the Nasa space program, has been a public opponent of Nasa's mismanagement of public funds.

"It seems like a big waste to me!" says Bill Sherman "Hasn't Nasa ever heard of TiVO?"

While Mr. Sherman has his doubts about Nasa, there is one thing Him and Nasa can agree on.

"[Nasa and I] may have our disagreements, but we both agree that Ugly Betty is a great show"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
