Mars is the red planet on the left

Britain's £44 million Mars probe, Beagle 2, which came down accidentslly just outside area 51 in the USA, panicked local "Close Encounters" UFO spotters so much by its constant digging of soil samples and analytical laser firing that the C.I.A immediately captured it and hid it in their secret underground UFO complex, it was revealed yesterday.

Scientists in the British Space Exploration trailer said they wanted it back to try again with, as providers of £44 million pounds were hard to find.

NASA told our Space reporter, "Mars just eats these things, there have been so many failures of all kinds of Mars probes, but hopefully we have got the hang of it. It is of paramount importance that you point it at the right planet though."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
