JACKSON, Mississippi - The state of Mississippi is proud to disclose that it has just passed a vote in the Mississippi State Senate making The McDonald's Big Mac the official state food.

SIDENOTE: The McDonald's Corporation will also be donating a 10-foot tall statue of Ronald McDonald eating a Big Mac. The statue will be placed at the entrance to the Mississippi Senate Building.
