image for A List of 10 New Products That Just Did Not Sell
Licorice Breath Mints were quickly banned in Texas, California, and Colorado.

Every year hundreds of corporations throughout the entire United States spend millions of dollars on developing, marketing, and selling brand new products.

Some times they get lucky and the product-buying American consumer accepts the product and the item becomes a manufacturing success.

But most of the times, however, the public rejects the new product.

And that item soon is sent off into oblivion or as Martha Stewart calls it, that Big Discontinued Products Bin in The Sky.

Here is a list of...

  1. Frozen Jello Taquitos
  2. Sushi Caramel Ice Cream
  3. Escargot Flavored Bubblegum
  4. Licorice Breath Mints
  5. The Ouch Dammit Super Burning Hot Sauce
  6. Spinach Flavored Hot Dog Buns
  7. Sarah Palin Dab On Lipstick
  8. Omarosa Charm Bracelets
  9. Sissy Brand Beer
  10. The Wynonna Judd Cornbread Wash Tub

NOTE: A candy product called Gummy Scorpions was also discontinued but for some strange reason it did have a bit of success in Arizona.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
