Singing From The Same Songbook: McCain and Bush

Washington, DC - From its headquarters on K Street, the campaign of Senator John Sidney McCain released the lyrics to his honest new campaign song: "Yes We Fear".

It was a creed written into those who fought against Independence.

Yes we fear.

It was whispered by slaveholders as they lived off the labor of others.

Yes we fear.

It was sung by multinationals as they overthrew democratically elected governments who tried to control our oil and minerals on their land.

Yes we fear.

It was the call of unionbusters; of those who blocked equal rights for the races and the sexes; and of a cheerleader who tore up our Constitution and blocked our path toward independence from oil barons and sheiks.

Yes we fear justice and equality.

Yes we fear opportunity and prosperity.

Yes we fear to heal this nation.

Yes we fear to repair this world.

Yes we fear.

We know the battle ahead will be long, but always remember that no matter who stands in the way, the will just get rolled over by the billions of dollars we will spend to block any change.

Yes. We. Fear.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
