Sensational news today as a report has said that a well known lyric in a Robbie Williams song is nothing more than crap.
"I look like Kiss but without the make-up and that's a good line to take it to the bridge" croons Stoke's famous son and former take-thater in his poptabulous smash "Strong"
However Oxford Music Professor, Clifton Bridge, comments:
"This line is fundamentally flawed. Not only is it crass and wanky, it doesn't scan very well. In simple terms it's shit, smug and not terribly good"
But the pint-sized pixie of pop hit back saying:
"This old bloke is a tosser and I'm brilliant so up his arse the silly old git"
Veteran DJ, Jimmy Saville, cuts rather a sad figure these days with his shiny shell-suits and his trademark cigars and Tony Blackburn, it seems, would go to the opening of an envelope. To think that these once great stars of broadcasting were great stars of broadcasting.
It's a funny old world.
