MSNBC - Morning Joe (On Air) - A sour looking Mika Brzezinski started her newscast by saying she had an apology, regarding the lead story. "I didn't choose it" she said, and went on, "No, I hate this story and I don't think it should be released.." Her co-anchor then jumped in to say she should make her own story.
"Alright, you know what? We should be leading with the Iraq story.." Then she fumbles around in a co-anchors pocket and -- pulls out a Bic, flicking away to try and set the news copy on fire, on air!
Having the lighter wrestled away from her she then proceeds to tear up the copy, which a co-anchor grabs from her as she says, "Burn that, burn that!" To which he replies, "I will not, I'll cherish it always," as he passes it to another co- anchor who smells the copy, "Smells good. Smell that." "I will not, I'm about to snap," Brzezinsk says.
Then she is handed another copy of the story which she proceeds to take to the paper shredder. "I will not." she says, "This is my Paris Hilton story!" And shreds it.
Then the station shows Paris being released from jail and Mika flips out...
