Taking the worlds of fashion by storm, as it was raining really heavily at the time, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge arrived at a Royal Engagement wearing a dress.
The Royal Engagement of Prince Kevin of Mayo to Princess Chardonnay of Toxteth would have been a glittering affair, except that Gary had been banned.
However the Duchess positively shone in the torchlight of the AA man who had arrived to fix the couple's car that had broken down on the way to the reception in the Chav Hall on Merseyside.
One of the guests, Dame Vivienne Westwood was the first to comment on the Royal attire. She confirmed that the Duchess was in fact wearing a dress. She also confirmed that she herself would soon be having a change of a dress, as she was moving house at the weekend.
Royal correspondent from Motor Mechanic Magazine, Jim L Fixxit, said that he agreed with Miss Westwood that the Duchess was wearing a dress, and that he would be writing several pages about this in the following month's edition of his magazine.
"I will also be tweeting that I saw, with my own eyes, and without the use of a safety net, that the Duchess was wearing a dress."
