Strictly Come Dancing's Brian Fortuna has announced he is leaving the show after changes were made to the format.
He quit the show after he and some of his colleagues were asked to make the show entertaining.
A furious Fortuna said "I don't know who the producers think they are. If the viewers want to be entertained, they should watch something else. We're here to show how good dancers we are, not to make people happy".
The producers of the BBC One show fear that Fortuna's decision may lead to a mass exodus of professional performers and plunging ratings. An unnamed source commented "Perhaps we've tried to be too radical too soon. Maybe the viewing public aren't quite ready for quality programmes yet and would still prefer mind numbing boredom. We may have to rethink our approach"
