Well who the bloody hell gives a flying fig whether elephants can or cannot dance? It has never been of concern to this writer and I don't think any of our readers were planning to ask an elephant out on a date anytime soon. Of course, I may be wrong!
So this is the way members of the historic Royal Institution earn their money is it? As "Nan" (of Catherine Tate fame) would say,
"What a load of crrraaaap!"
Now that this fact has been 'put out there', some idiots will think of it as a challenge and start trying to train elephants to dance.
Who knows.....yet another new, terrifically boring reality show with talentless contestants (and I don't mean the elephants), seeking their 15 minutes of fame, could be gracing our television screens in 2011...."Dancing with Elephants".
Mind you, if PETA get wind of this, members will be painting placards and marching on the television studios involved. You can bet your money on that!
