The Queen becomes a great-grandmother as Peter Phillips' wife Autumn has a baby daughter
Yes, our dear Queen is a great-grandmother and, although delighted, she does say that she is now beginning to 'feel her age' however she assures us she still will NOT be asking for Seniors' Discounts when shopping. She has, nevertheless, taken possession of her bus pass, just in case.
Peter and Autumn's wedding almost didn't take place as she is/was Catholic and had to 'switch' churches in order to marry her sweetheart, that is, if he wished to remain 139th in line for the throne.
Religion being what religion is, the poor little baby girl will be illegitimate in the eyes of the Catholic Church, unless rules have changed since I was born to a Catholic mother and a Protestant father.
It is hoped she will not be teased or bullied when she is old enough to attend school. She will receive necessary counselling as soon as she is able to comprehend language, in an effort to prepare her for teasing about her 'illegitimacy' if and when it arises.
The baby's name has, at the time of publication, not been revealed to the public.
