While X Factor bosses have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep axed Wagner from talking about the show, they may have done him a favour.
The wacky Brazilian was expected to appear on TV chat shows after being kicked off the show with Katie Waissel on Sunday. But show bosses were so terrified that anything he said might damage the show's image, they slapped a gagging order on him.
They are thought to have smuggled him out of his hotel and given him advice on PR.
A Wagner camp insider told us: "This really interested him - he was quite taken with the whole PR thing. He was immediately surrounded by all these oily, greasy spin-doctor types and was fascinated by their wickedness.
"Like he keeps saying, he doesn't like evil. And he sees modern PR practises as the embodiment of evil.
"He reckons he can stem the tide of PR evil and plans to set up an agency, as he says, 'on the side of everything good and just.'"
