The popular TV giraffe called Hamley (RIP) stuck his neck out once too far, got struck by lightning and is now a stiff long-necked "stiff" giraffe.
The freak accident happened on a Safari park in South Africa where Hamley was busy chewing on his favourite diet of African Bush tree leaves.
The storm brew up, struck the tree and now he's in giraffe heaven. Hamley's keepers warned him not to stick his neck out too far whilst devouring the leaves from the top branches, but he ignored the warnings.
His keepers also warned him never to stand under or near trees during a thunder storm but being the greedy old giraffe that he was ignored them too and payed the ultimate price, riding the lightning from head to toe, a long way down.
Hamley was the star of the ITV drama called "Wild at Heart" and after his death the RSPCA have demanded that all TV giraffes receive special insurance so they can at least get compensated for sticking their necks out too far!
Being a giraffe super soap-star can be tough at the "very top" sometimes.
