Insiders who were near Lady Gaga after she recently switched from her meat dress to her hair dress overheard her telling others that the hair dress included some of her own.
"I want to see if the People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals protest against the human animal", she apparently told those backstage when she appeared of The View" recently. "So far, I haven't seen a one. So if it were human skin I had been wearing at the Awards Show, I guess it would have been fine with them. Creeps!"
Gaga received both applause and laughter from the crowd at "The View". Someone asked her afterward if the laughter bothered her.
"Not at all. I do look ridiculous! I look like Cousin It from the old Adams Family Show", she laughed. "In fact some of this human hair came from a very personal part of me."
Someone asked her from what part of her body had donated the hair.
"Well, if you'll look (removing her wig), you will see there is none missing from my head."
As she walked off backstage partly reliving the area where her hair dress parted, several caught a glimpse of a bald spot on her back.
