Quito, Ecuador: This afternoon Meg Whitman dropped out of the race for Governor of California and announced her candidacy for President of Ecuador saying "For the $120 Million of my own money that I've spent on my campaign so far I could buy Equador. I'm going to run on the platform that I have consistently helped undocumented Hispanic workers in California by employing them in my own home. I'm going to make sure that the new government of Equador doesn't spend the taxpayers' money excessively. I am really excited to be on Paris Hilton's new reality show."

Paris Hilton tweeted, "I'm really excited to have Meg Whitman on my new reality show. We're going to shoot in Ecuador in the winter because it's so hot there in the summer; it's near the equator. Meg Whitman is an equal opportunity employer. My own sister is named Nicky. Meg's maid Nicky is also going to be on the show. In the first episode Meg and I snort coke as Nicky acts as the lookout."

Meg Whitman replied: "My first act as President of Equador will be to legalize drugs. Think of the money we will save on policing. Then all my California friends will be able to bring their friends to Equador and tourism will boom. Think of all the tax money Equador will take in once I legalize drugs. We're going to put the drug cartels out of business. We won't even need a police force in Equador. Think of it as socialized drug dealing; it will be just like alcohol."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
