NO DNA TEST NECESSARY: Eliot "Coco" Sumner, the future Executrix of the Wills of Sting and producer Trudie Styler, is now the first woman to win the Julian Lennon Award for sounding exactly like her famous father, Police guitarist Andy Summers.
(UPDATE: We mean Sting, of course.)
Coco's Myspace page contains the single "self Machine", and is accompanied by the band's first video. After 8 measures of lo-fi, bleeps-and-bloops Pop, a voice begins to sing. The lyrics are not nearly as memorable as Coco's voice: She sounds just like Sting, were his balls to drop off.
Previous winners include the titular Julian Lennon, Jason Bonham, and Nat King Cole, Jr. (formerly Natalie Cole).
Many of the free MP3s available for download from Coco's Myspace Page have gone unclaimed, mostly because no one has used their Myspace account since 2007.
Coco is also nominated for the Alexa Rae Joel "Ugliest Offspring of Attractive Millionaires" Award, most recently won by Rumer Willis.
