A reality television show that will test its participants to the maximum debuts this week on new American cable channel Sicko.
Zoophobia challenges ten members of the public to survive as long as possible in a small, inescapable enclosure filled with lions, tigers, alligators, crocodiles and wolves, all of which haven't been fed in six weeks.
After nine of the contestants have been killed, the remaining survivor will be released and presented with a prize: a day at Disneyland, California.
A Sicko spokesman said, "Zoophobia is going to be a defining moment in the history of reality television. Our only worry is that none of the contestants will survive long enough to fill the show's ten-week schedule, but we've got some cartoons on standby just in case that happens."
