"Has anyone seen my Pedigree Chum?"

Spiritualist Derek Acorah is set to attempt a TV first by contacting the spirit of Phil Collins' pet dog.

'Buster', a 10-year-old German Shepherd, died in 2005 after mistaking a small land-mine for a Frisbee, and pop-star Collins is eager to hear his faithful friend bark from beyond the grave. After watching Acorah successfully contact the spirit of late pop singer Michael Jackson last year, Collins decided to get in touch with the celebrity medium. Acorah agreed to conduct the seance in exchange for a fee of just over half a million pounds.

The live seance will be broadcast on the Paranormal Channel later this month. Said Collins: "Buster was my best friend. I'd give anything just to hear him bark or pant one more time, and I know Derek is the man to do it. He'd better do anyway after all the money I've given him, or I'll kick his f*****g head in."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
