LOS ANGELES - Willie Nelson, at the age of 76, is one of the oldest performers performing today. A janitor who works for Larry King said that he saw the Austin singer smoke what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette just before he left his dressing room to appear on Live With Larry King.
Nelson told King that he still smokes a little pot and says that it reminds him of when he was 19, and got away with acting like that 50 percent black fella "Dick With Feet" aka Tiger Woods.
A close friend of "Wildweed" Willie noted that Nelson probably smokes about 3.7 marijuana cigarettes a day. The Austin, Texas native is proud of the fact that he is perhaps the most famous pot-smoking singer/musician in the entire music business.
When asked if he isn't afraid of being arrested. Willie smiles and asks, "Now tell me. Who the hell wants to be the police officer that arrests a 76-year-old has been singer?"
Willie grinned and said that the arresting officer would turn out to be the laughing stock of the entire law enforcement community in America.
Larry King asked Willie if smoking dope impairs his singing and his guitar playing. Willie laughed and said that after smoking the loco weed for over 50 years not smoking dope would certainly impair his singing and his guitar playing.
