Apparently, the popularity of Taylor Lautner in the Twilight movies have gotten the notice of TV's popular new "The Vampire Diaries" because the rumor going around is that Taylor Lautner is interested in appearing as a regular.
"While I enjoy the work on "Twilight", Lautner recently told reporters in an article in "Twenty First Century TV", "I'd like to get a regular appearing TV role and they are making a great offer."
Would it take you away from "Twilight?"
"On no, I'm committed to the role there as long as they continue the movies. I don't think 'The Vampire Diaries' would like that either. Apparently, I'm a draw", he laughed.
Lautner says that he would play a new character on "Diaries" admitted that he doesn't know if he'll be a werewolf again.
"Apparently 'Twilight" has helped me to become a howling success."
