Only in his teens himself, actor Taylor Lautner who plays a werewolf in the Twilight series has noticed that some kids are afraid of him when he's out shopping or on the street.
"It gives me the creeps", stated Lautner to this reporter. "I hate scaring kids, especially the little girls."
Taylor stated that he doesn't believe the kids two and under have even seen the films but it's their teenage brothers and sisters that are always teasing the little ones that "the guy over there turns into a big wolf!"
"Even the parents tell them scary stuff about me, especially the dads who think it's funny...but I don't think the kids agree. They are actually scared."
This reporter then asked about Robert Pattinson who plays a vampire.
"Nah, he's got too many girls around him wanting his autograph."
Lautner then had to leave but he said he wondered how many kids ever ran off from Boris Karloff or Lon Chaney Jr.?
