A 13-year-old "werewolf" boy who desperately seeks a cure for his condition and is baffling medical experts, has drawn the attention of Hollywood's werewolf of the Twilight movies, Taylor Lautner.
Pruthviraj Patil is one of about 50 people in the world who suffer from hypertrichosis, a rare genetic condition known as Werewolf Syndrome.
As a result his face and body is covered in thick, matted hair.
But he now has hope after the kind offer of Taylor Lautner doctors will be able to help if not cure his ailment.
"I don't mind paying for the process", stated Lautner. "I had asked that this remain anonymous but the guy was so happy he told everyone right after my visit to India."
Taylor stated that he had read about Pruthviraj in a tabloid.
"All they did was get their interview and pay his family but they made no offer to help his condition. Can you imagine coming into your teens and looking like a werewolf permanently?"
Lautner said the operation and treatment will begin in a couple of weeks and the howling should stop after about three months, according to doctors.
