No one knows exactly why they got into it but actor Woody Harrelson apparently flattened Simon Cowell with a single blow at a restaurant in Soho.
A friend of Harrelson claims that he and Harrelson had been having a few beers and that Harrelson hadn't had much sleep the night before because of a party before shooting gets underway for Harrelson's next movie about vampires.
Cowell was with a lady and while Woody had nodded off, Cowell brushed by him waking him up.
The guy who wouldn't give us his name, thought it would be funny if he yelled to Woody, "There's a Zombie!" and Woody reacted in the same way he did with the photographer at an airport last year. Only this time he turned the table over and jumped up and slugged Cowell, knocking him out cold.
"I guess he was knocked out", stated the friend. "I left with Woody in a hurry. We caught a cab despite my having appetizers and beer all over my lap and an injured toe where the table edge had caught it."
At present, no charges have been filed. Harrelson apparently called Cowell to apologize and then had his friend tell him what happened.
So it's happened again. Will it be another court battle? Is Harrelson innocent again? Who knows? Maybe it's the friend who should pay any costs. Apparently the Zombie-Goosey Harrelson is either innocent or having the time of his life.
