HOLLYWOOD - The final 12 American Idol males took the stage and after all of the dust had cleared the only one standing was Fort Worth native Casey James.
Even the early odds-on-favorite Andrew Garcia disappointed judge Simon "The Royal Rude Dude" Cowell to the degree that he wondered if performing after Casey aka "Kara's Cowboy Toy" may have thrown Andrew off, way off.
Casey sang the Bryan Adams song "Heaven" and everyone in the audience could clearly see that he was singing it to Kara "The Cougar" DioGuardi.
All four judges agreed that "The Texas Cowpoke" sitting center stage on a stool and strumming his "geetar" was quite a unique site.
Randy "The Black Dawg" Jackson said that ole Casey looked as comfortable as if he was sitting on his old pinto stallion out on some Texas mesa.
Kara DioGuardi makes no secret of the fact that she thinks that Casey is the sexiest, best looking singer that has ever performed before her and the other three judges.
DioGuardi was asked after the show if the rumor that Simon Cowell was putting out about her taking off her underwear and tossing them on stage was true.
Kara laughed and said that Simon missed it by one, because the boxer shorts that landed at Casey's feet actually belonged to the "Dawg" Randy Jackson, who took off his underwear and threw them on stage, but not in a gay way.
New Judge-on-the-block Ellen DeGeneres, who is a card-carrying lesbian, and who possesses a gorgeous-looking wife, along with a very short haircut, smiled and said that of course she does not like guys but if she did, Casey would certainly be one that she would like to do the "Wild Thang" with.
So it definitely appears by all accounts that the long blonde-haired cowboy from Texas will be sticking around long after the cows have come home.
In somewhat related news. Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul was seen at a Santa Monica Wiener-on-a-Stick Restaurant eating one of their deluxe foot longs and muttering to herself that Ellen is not as good as her and that at least she (Paula) isn't an illegal lesbian.
