Reports have reached us from informed inside sources that world-renowned singer Susan Boyle has placed the beige frock she wore for her audition on Britain's Got Talent up for auction on eBay.
Bidding on the dress has been brisk. Various talk show hosts and female impersonators from the UK submitted offers.
The winning bid of a million dollars, however, came from a retired gentleman in Arizona. When reached for comment the gentleman said, "I have more money than I know what to do with, and I want to build a multi-million dollar museum to display Susan's dress. I want this to be a shrine to Susan so that Susafans from all over the world can come here to pray for Susan's well-being."
A distraught Dr. Robot is said to have commented, "How dare she sell that dress on eBay. I don't care if the proceeds are going to charity. She should have sold it through my website (read totalitarian state) where I could have received a substantial cut of the profits."
