Chef David Bundschak shocked the culinary world yesterday when he served a dish that was sweet, but according to the judges he was facing "had absolutely no savory elements at all."
While appearing on a Bravo Network competition show called "Who Can Cook Good?" Chef Bundschak said he definitely wanted to go out on a limb and take a risk in an effort to be daring. He seemed angry that the judges didn't appreciate how brave he was in making a non savory dish. Bundschak stated "I guess they didn't get it. I know I'm the best chef. It doesn't bother me that no one else I have ever come in contact with ever thought I was very good. I know I'm great."
Bundschak had created a brazed tuna dish with a chocolate foam glaze which the judges said "lacked panache in a pedestrian way" and "didn't indicate Bundschak was stepping up in a brave, daring sort of way that chefs have to if they want to win TV show competitions." The judges also said that Bundschak's personality was sort of bland and uninteresting and "not even gay or anything."
Meanwhile, the rest of the world actually had important things to do.
