The original members of the Sugarbabes, Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan have all been forced out at one time or another from the popular beat combo.
Having now all been through the emotional wringer, they have been convinced to reform as a trio. Mutya, apparently, was the hardest to convince, the memories of her painful ejection from the group still raw in her mind. However, Peter Andre's manager, Claire Powell, got them all in a room, and beat them with Hazel Twigs (their former roadie) until they agreed.
Now they have signed up to being the latest all girl trio in the charts, as well as one of the original ones, the hard work starts, as they as of yet do not have a name for the trio.
The current management of the Sugarbabes, has already denied them Sugarwomen, AspartameBabes and Original Sugarbabes. So the three women have opened up the naming of the new band to their former fan-club.
So far, the top five suggestions have been:
5. The JellyBabes
4. Why? For God's Sake Why?
3. I'll give them Three Months
2. The New Lineup is Better
1. Just Learn When to Quit
With the five suggestions in place, the marketing company have told them that only the fifth placed suggestion would look good on the front cover of a CD, so expect the latest single from the JellyBabes in the shops this Christmas.
