After receiving death threats before her "Circus" show in Russia, Britney Spears came out in what appeared to be her sexy nighty and began to dance.
As the hand clapping got louder and louder, she apparently thought she heard a shot because she dodged down, revealing a little more that what was scheduled and the crowd got wilder and wilder.
There were KGB agents down front and scattered throughout the area as extra agents were brought on after Britney had received the threats.
Then the audience began leaving their seats and imitating Britney's moves, several throwing out their backs. Then there were loud shouts of joy and "Charley Horse" hopping.
One elderly lady down front stood up and began removing her clothes.
The vodka ran free and as Britney kept dancing, the audience enjoyed their participation so much that everyone just keep dancing except the old naked lady who was being carried out by KGB agents.
In all the turmoil the show lasted some two hours, 15 minutes longer than Britney's set. Backstage Ms. Spears was scratching her head and pulling her clothes out of her crevices when she suddenly remembered that she had forgotten to sing.
But thunderous applause brought her back on stage to take a bow. She did two more as the crowd cheered, finally starting one final number but left after everyone else began dancing once again.
This morning's newspapers hailed the performance as a hit and she's been invited back next year.
"But I forgot to sing", Britney told reporters. "I'm so dumb!"
"You know what? Good for you," said one reporter. "Only a very special person could get up in front of millions of people to do such idiotic stuff. That is so inspiring to me."
"That's so amazing," said another. "It's just so refreshing to hear an Airhead like you do the kinds of things that are almost insane and stand there and admit them. You are very brave."
Across the entire Russian nation, many people agreed.
"She's One Of Us!" read most morning newpapers.
