American singer Britney Spears has confirmed a concert tour of 24 venues around the UK.
Currently the world's most famous mime artist, she will be following in the footsteps of famous French mime artist Marcel Marceau, and will be appearing at institutes for the deaf in major cities throughout Britain.
Her tour manager confirmed that the singer was said to be thrilled at the prospect of this tour. She said that it was breaking new ground whereby people who can't hear her will be able to enjoy the evening as she mimes to her greatest hits.
Many able-eared people attending the concerts have expressed fears that they might have to listen to Britney's records as she mimes, but the promoters have assured everyone that this wont be the case. They have confirmed that the only sounds at the concert will be the grunting of the road crews as they attend to the needs of the 18-year old groupies who hang 'round the stage doors.
