Last night the stage saw a new Susan Boyle. Gone was the lady who has been hiding in motel rooms and missing her place on the traveling group of singers from "Britain's Got Talent".
Beginning with a slow beautiful rendition of "Memory" from cats, she sudden slung off her outward outfit and began dancing and performing the song, "Beat It" as the cats in the background began changing their outfits also.
Suddenly other singers and dancers appeared behind Susan as she swung her bum and they went into a frenzied version of Thriller and the crowd marveled as Susan began moon walking across the stage.
At the end of the performance, a thoroughly winded Susan Boyle received a standing ovation.
Immediately cornered afterward was Simon Cowell, protecting the door to his star performer.
"How did this happen, Mr. Cowell? She has been very shy with the public over the past weeks. Then suddenly this performance tonight."
"She's been in her room practicing. That kind of stuff is sort of new to her and she wanted it done perfectly. You know our Susan!"
"And what about all those scars around the top of her head?"
"She fell over her cat. That set her back a few days also. Well, I gotta run. Susan has "Billie Jean" and "I'll Be There" numbers coming up tomorrow night that will knock them dead."
