Widow of murdered Beatle John Lennon, "artist" Yoko Ono I've Done It Again! has found herself once more up to her neck in three feet of controversy.
Ono has thrown together a display for an upcoming exhibition at a New York art gallery, a display containing, amongst other items, a paper bag containing the bloody clothes of her late partner.
Aware that the exhibit might cause controversy, the diminutive Ono explained to a group of reporters that she never sets out to shock, before turning to slap art critic and nun Sister Wendy Beckett.
Other items to be shown include a piano with keys blood stained when the lid shut on Mr Lennon's fingers; a sheet of blood stained handwritten lyrics composed after Mr Lennon had almost chopped off his finger while slicing onions; and a pair of blood stained glasses smashed after Mr Lennon walked into a door after a night on the town.
The 76 year old said the decision to display the bloody clothes had been a difficult one, and not motivated in any way by a need to draw attention to herself. She then put her clothes back on.
