In a bold step, the BBC is going to experiment next Saturday night with an "all-straight" light entertainment show. After years of promoting homo stars, the Director General himself ordered the one-off show to highlight the fact that the Corporation also has dozens of straight actors and variety acts on it's rosta.
This show will follow on from last year's all-gay "Newsnight" and "Gardener's World", the special all-lesbian "Panorama" and the transgender-only edition of "Question of Sport".
Channel 4 TV had a surprise hit earlier this year with it's documentary about the first all-gay ascent of Ruratonga with no moisturising allowed.
