CHICAGO -- A policy created by the United Association of Press Writers (UAPW) in a unanimous vote calls for all newspapers and agencies to ban Britney Spears stories.
The ban includes spoofs and serious stories and even the story you are reading now about the ban.
"Stories and jokes about her are dead weight," said one UAPW member. "We've read so many serious and funny stories that we are all just tired. We aren't laughing and we are apathetic to actual happenings."
The UAPW members voted to begin the ban immediately, something that is expected to make a negative impression on Ms. Spears' career.
