Mind yer backs, please!

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has been assaulted by a Manchester United fan during a concert at the V Festival in Toronto. Gallagher was pushed from behind, and fell off the stage. He was said to have a bruised ego.

Noel, and his brother, Liam, are both Manchester City fans, and have, in the last few days, been quite vociferous about the takeover at Eastlands, saying that their rivals' time at the top was coming to an abrupt end.

The fan, obviously incensed by their comments, rushed onto the stage and carried out the assault before being wrestled to the ground by bouncers, who bounced him out of the auditorium and into the street, where he continued bouncing.

The group were in the middle of their hit single Morning Glory when the incident happened. The footage can be viewed on YouTube, and is well worth seeing, if only to laugh at the way Liam Gallagher pretends to have to be restrained.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
